Pickleball in Searcy, Arkansas
Searcy pickleball has two distinct public options. The Courts at Berryhill provide eight dedicated, lighted outdoor courts for free daily play, while Carmichael Community Center sets aside a weekday indoor pickleball block from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Berryhill is the better choice for flexible court access; Carmichael is the more practical starting point for players hoping to meet others at a known time.

Courts at Berryhill
Address: 501 Davis Drive, Searcy, AR 72143
Berryhill Park has eight dedicated, lighted pickleball courts that are free and open to the public daily. Restrooms and a reservable pavilion sit near the courts. Carmichael Community Center
Address: 801 South Elm Street, Searcy, AR 72143
Carmichael publishes a weekday pickleball period from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. within its Monday-Friday operating schedule. The page does not state fees, registration, equipment, or skill-level rules, so call 501-279-1010 before attending. The official community center page has the current schedule.
Getting Started with Pickleball in Searcy
No recurring adult beginner lesson series is currently published by the city. A first-time player should call Carmichael Community Center and ask whether staff can place a beginner in the weekday pickleball block or refer a local instructor. If the session is not beginner-oriented, arrange one experienced partner at Berryhill and practice serving, returning, the two-bounce rule, and non-volley-zone positioning. The coach directory provides additional leads; confirm the lesson date, price, and court before booking.
Searcy Pickleball Open Play and Tournaments
Carmichael's weekday 11 a.m.-2 p.m. pickleball block is the city's only currently published recurring time, but call to confirm whether it functions as open play and whether visitors can join. Berryhill supports tournament rentals and will host the one-time Piper's Purpose Pickleball Tournament on October 2-3, 2026. Registration is open through September 29, with singles and doubles divisions listed for skill levels from 3.0 and under through 4.0+. See the current tournament page for registration and schedule updates. Additional events may appear on our announcements page.
Visitor Game Plan for Searcy Pickleball
Solo visitors should call Carmichael Community Center, confirm the next weekday pickleball session, and ask whether it welcomes their skill level; that is more dependable than hoping for an opponent at an open court. For flexible outdoor play, Berryhill is free and has enough courts to improve the odds of activity, but court availability does not guarantee a partner. Use the club and play resources to arrange a game in advance, and check for tournament closures before arriving.
